Browser Fairness and the NBA Finals.

This article just goes to show you exactly why you can't trust any windows product these days for total security. But what really gets me is this quote: "Firefox security is an ongoing process."

Now we know that if Microsoft said something to the effect of "Internet Explorer security is an ongoing process", they would easily get butchered by their critics. I all fairness, we need to approach security in any windows application as an "ongoing process". Right now, everything is a target and browsers have proven to be one of the more lucrative ways for thieves to take advantage of users.

In other news, it seems Detroit has pulled up even against the Spurs again in the series. With what I've seen of the lackluster performance of Tim Duncan, and the terrible shooting from the field for the whole team (They took 28 3-pointers last night and made only 8), I don't see any reason why they deserve to win game 7. Detroit has seemed to play with more consistency over the whole series, and they look much more like a team to hold the credibility of another NBA Championship. Sorry, San Antionio, but unless you guys start playing up to your potential, there's no chance you're gonna win this one Thursday night.

The Spurs win! The Spurs win!

That’s right I called it for you. In a fantastic finals series that went the full seven games; the spurs came out victorious. The combination of Duncan’s aggressive offensive plays, Ginobili’s slashing moves to the hoop, shut down clutch defense by Bowen, Duncan, and “the Naz”, and great coaching by Pop the spurs claimed the finals. Three cheers for fundamentals!

Forget the silly “legacy” talk on sports radio. If you’ve caught Erik Kuselias the last few days you’ve learned this simple fact: HE IS A MORON. He got diarrhea of the mouth and his comments have nothing to do with reality. After his first show this week I resigned myself to go back to FM in the morning until July!

Tim Duncan isn’t even 30 years old yet. He still has a huge career left in front of him. The spurs are only going to get better. Young, selfless talent + solid front offense work = more trophies in San Antonio.

Detroit, more consistent then the Spurs? Who are you kidding Albert? They lost the first two games by getting crushed on the road. Then they woke up for two games at home, but couldn’t complete the home series - And lost again. Stop listening to sports radio goons who talk as if the most recent game is the only one that matters in the entire universe. Their view of life is SOOOO myopic that that someone has to rest their show notes on the end of their big, fat, lying noses.

In the final game, Rasheed Wallace, who is 7 feet tall and has amazing potential got 1 rebound. 1 Rebound! That is inconsistent! Chauncey Billups looked almost as pathetic! 3 for 8 shooting and 0 for 3 from beyond the arc is also inconsistent. Finally, if you want consistency, don’t look at Larry Brown. He’s been rumored in several job openings around the league and has never stayed any place longer than several seasons. He’s got 3 years left on his contract with Detroit, but don’t put any money down on him staying to complete that deal. He never does.

I’m out like Larry Brown!

Kind of interesting comments on my blog from the guy
who told me that he hadn't watched even 1 game of the
finals. I'm assuming your criticisms of Detroit are
based on box scores and stats. If you would have
watched all of the games, you would have seen that San
Antonio lost by an average of 17 points the second two
games, won game 5 by the skin of their teeth, with
Duncan missing almost all of his Free Throws, and the
team getting CREAMED in game 6, AT HOME!

From what I saw they were much more inconsistent than
Detroit. The only areas that Detroit lacked
consistency were in their defense in the first two
games, and their offense in game 7. Larry Brown was
out-coached by his former asistant. Also, Kuselias
predicted the Spurs to win before the series began.
You probably overhead him playing devil's advocate.
