This image came out amazingly better than I had anticipated, as it was shot through the windshield of our car. I sometimes wonder if the tree feels lonely in all that space, or if it feels exhilarated and free?
Things I've learned: I've been making this image in my head for months as I've driven past this tree. It feels great to finally put that to fruition. Sometimes observation and planning of your image can be an excellent primer and catalyst to creation.
