The Beginning of the End?

Hines Ward needs to re-sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. They can't afford to lose such a caliber player. Who cares if he wants more money? He's worth it. He knows it, the fans know it, and I'm sure the team and owners know it. If they blow this one, they might be staring at another 6-10 season again. What is worse than not having Hines Ward on the team is the thought of him on another rival team, like the Baltimore Ravens. Good grief!! Somebody work this out before its too late!!!!!

No more truth has been spoken than the truth of your blogg! The end is near! Repent, Jesus is coming soon!

As for tour precious Steelers… It’s not like Hines Ward draws double teams. All last year he only warranted single coverage. Most teams choose instead, to focus on stopping the run. The Steelers are a run first offense.

Ward has two choices: End his holdout and continue talks, as Steelers Pro Bowl running back Barry Foster did in 1993, or sit out the season, as three-time Pro Bowl linebacker Mike Merriweather did in 1988. Either way, he loses.

All Ward has to do is come to camp and start talks with the Steelers. The Steelers team policy is not to negotiate with hold-outs. He is important to the team but he is not bigger than the team rules. If you break the rules for him. You can kiss the integrity of your precious team goodbye. Ask the Patriots, super bowl winners, if integrity is a key component to winning?
